Mechanical Engineer
At this position, the candidate is responsible for engineering support throughout development, installation, testing and maintenance of process equipment, robotics or industrial automation equipment, both in-house and at customers’ sites. Within mechanical engineering field, qualified candidate is expected to offer technical and professional know-how, and perform detailed engineering work with minimum supervision. The candidate is also responsible for reporting spare parts requested by customers, as well as managing issues with suppliers.
The candidate must be able to communicate effectively with team members in related disciplines and with customers to identify engineering issues, prioritize tasks, follow through and resolve issues.
Domestic and international travels are required with this position.

BS (MS preferred) in Electrical Engineering or related discipline or equivalent
5+ years of applicable experience, and an advanced knowledge of a particular aspect of design work, in addition to strong project management, organizational and communication skills.

Evaluation, design, construction and troubleshooting of (low and high) power distribution systems
Evaluation, design, construction, testing and maintenance of generic temperature and motion (both electrical and pneumatic) control systems
Hands-on experience with modern PLC control systems (Beckhoff, Omron preferred)
Using CAD software to create electrical schematics
Maintaining and interpreting electrical schematics and other related documentation
Creating and managing BOM (bill of materials)
